FORM FOR REPORTING DOLPHIN SIGHTINGS
If you have taken videos or photographs of your sighting, please send them to pr@morigenos.org and include the information provided in the dolphin reporting form.
Why are your calls important?
Dolphins are an important part of the marine ecosystem, but they face numerous threats such as pollution, the impacts of maritime traffic, and habitat loss. To effectively protect them, we need reliable data on their occurrence, behavior and the areas they use for feeding, breeding, and other key activities.
With your help, we can record:
• the location of the sighting,
• time,
• number of dolphins observed,
• presence of calves,
• behavior of the animals,
• photographic and video data.
Each dolphin sighting helps us build a more accurate picture of their presence in our seas. Thank you for your contribution to the preservation of our marine heritage.
