A meeting of the Scientific Committee of ACCOBAMS (Agreement on the Conservation of Cetaceans of the Black Sea, Mediterranean Sea and contiguous Atlantic area) is currently concluding in Monaco, where Tilen Genov of Morigenos is also attending as a member of the Committee. The ACCOBAMS Scientific Committee is the central expert body for issues related to the research and conservation of whales and dolphins in the Mediterranean and the Black Seas. The celebration was also attended by Prince Albert II of Monaco, who opened a new outdoor exhibition, which is also adorned with a photograph of Morigenos. On this occasion, a new book on the conservation of whales and dolphins in the Mediterranean and the Black Seas was published, authored by Giuseppe Notarbartolo di Sciaria and Arda M. Tonay, to which Morigenos also contributed with information and photographs.
